1. I know plenty of people in german cars who think they are the best and bring up that "german engineering" bullshit. people who don't know better do think german cars are on a whole different level from anything else.

2. I must have missed that one but yeah a base model of car A vs a top trim of model B with the same miles/condition won't be the same price

3. With all the talk on jezebel about the same topic its not like he's the only one bringing it up.

Naw, I'm just saying if hes gonna write about it, the content should be good/interesting. Unless I'm mistaken he hasn't taken it to the track, hasn't done any mods (or maintenance), hasn't done any kind of mechanical walk throughs, real comparisons to other similar cars or other MR V8 Ferraris... etc. Just stuff like 'a Ferrari wont get you laid' and 'My friends did not crash my Ferrari'. I learned more about Ferraris from about an hour of combined time behind the wheel in an F430 and 458 than I have from all of Doug's posts combined.... that doesnt add up

2. Not according to Doug apparently... a 911 GT2 will cost the same as a same year C2S, a CR-V with leather and AWD will cost the same as a base FWD model

Why would I not reply?

A post about a track day is nowhere near as dull as, for example, the 8th version of "a Ferrari won't get you laid", or any version of "hey my friends didnt crash my Ferrari" or "heres a hypothetical comparo between a 360 Modena and some car that anyone could have written"

Going through the whole ritual of the track day, the interesting people there, the difference in how the car handles on the track vs the street, etc.... that would actually make for a really good article

But I'm guessing you won't take this thing to the track
